Welcome to the D2CIN Project

The Digital Diversity: Crafting Inclusive AI Narratives (D2CIN), Project Number: 2025-1-DE02-KA210-VET-000354956 project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, is a small-scale initiative led by MP Mimic Productions GmbH (Germany) in partnership with Budakov Films (Bulgaria). Together, we aim to make AI-driven education more inclusive, ethical, and accessible for all.

Our research revealed key challenges faced by educators and creators – from difficulty identifying AI bias to gaps in accessibility, ethical design, and technical know-how. These barriers limit the potential of digital learning to be truly inclusive.

D2CIN responds with hands-on, human-centered solutions embedded into our project activities. Together, we’re empowering professionals to create fair, adaptive, and inclusive AI tools that make digital education more accessible for everyone.

Activity 1: Personalized Feedback Navigator

The first activity of D2CIN develops a digital tool that helps educators and freelancers evaluate and enhance their ability to create inclusive, bias-free conversational AI. Following a kick-off meeting in Berlin and expert focus groups in Germany and Bulgaria, Budakov Films and Mimic Productions will co-develop a web-based Navigator that identifies gaps in bias detection, accessibility, and adaptive content—offering personalized feedback to strengthen ethical and inclusive AI training.

Activity 2: Accessible AI for Education:

A Comprehensive Guide to Inclusive Design and Training

Activity 2 focuses on creating a practical handbook that guides educators and designers in developing ethical, accessible, and engaging conversational AI tools. Partners will design a clear framework covering key topics such as bias mitigation, inclusive UX, accessibility standards, AI ethics, and digital storytelling. The consortium will produce and refine the “Accessible AI for Education” Handbook, offering step-by-step strategies and best practices.

Activity 3: Inclusive AI Impact Pilot & Collaborative Outreach Summit

Activity 3 focuses on testing, refining, and sharing D2CIN’s main results. The consortium will organize interactive workshops where participants pilot the Personalized Feedback Navigator and Handbook, apply inclusive AI design practices, and provide real-world feedback. Finally, both partners will host Launch Conferences in Germany and Bulgaria, presenting the project’s key tools, showcasing best practices, and connecting educators, technologists, and inclusion experts across Europe.

The D2CIN project brings together two creative and forward-thinking organizations — Mimic Productions (Germany) and Budakov Films (Bulgaria). Their collaboration combines cutting-edge expertise in AI-driven digital innovationwith strong experience in educational media and inclusive learning design. This partnership ensures a perfect balance between technical excellence and creative pedagogy, driving the project’s mission to make AI education more ethical, accessible, and engaging for all.

MP Mimic Productions GmbH is a Berlin-based studio specializing in AI, 3D character creation, and digital human technology. Known for its work at the intersection of art, technology, and storytelling, Mimic pioneers innovative solutions that blend realism and inclusivity in digital environments - bringing human emotion and ethical design to the forefront of AI development.

With passion and expertise in multimedia productions and development of digital learning technologies, Budakov Films helps companies and academic institutions to empower their visual brand identity as well as rethinking education models and bring innovative digital learning technologies to life.
